VIRTUAL WINE AND CHEESE SEMINARS THAT ACTUALLY FEEL SOCIAL
because we may be on zoom, but it shouldn't feel like another hour of work
Hearing things like "I detect hints of raspberry, tobacco and a touch of salinity" is
driving people away from virtual wine and cheese tasting & we can't say we blame you:
If being a professional Somm isn't your aspiration why not skip some of the science & terminology
and focus on other interesting & equally meaningful topics?!
Instead of only focusing on what we taste in a language that is irrelevant to most people,
we choose to converse with you about some of the other interesting topics - the who, why, how, when, and where!
If you receive wine in a mason jar or and another sample format, the fact remains that you have no idea
when this bottle of wine was originally opened. If companies portion the wine even one day in advance
(realistically... even more!) the wine has already gone stale at this point.
We only offer full, unopened bottles of wine sourced from private agents & the LCBO so
we can begin our journey of that bottle of wine together :
Reading the label properly. Opening the bottle strategically. Choosing a glass. Hearing about the Winery ...
3. We offer In-House Delivery - Legally
We obtained the necessary permits, registration & insurance to deliver full bottles of wine to you.
Our competitors will either send you to the LCBO with a list,
only offer local winery deliveries, or (illegally) deliver pre-rationed wine.
Especially when it comes to planning Corporate Events, playing by the rules does in fact matter;
it would be a shame to have your event cancelled at the last minute due to "extenuating circumstances" ...
Rebecca Meir sources bottles of wine from any & all regions of the world for your virtual wine and cheese seminars.
We aim for a full, well-rounded experience where you & your guests
socialize your way towards a more diverse wine education & understanding.
Some companies limit the regions you get to choose from for whatever reason (legality, affiliation, etc)
but we believe diversity of knowledge comes from studying wines from home & abroad!
